why dealers imposed extra cost when u buy a White car?

still wondering what is the reason.

    I rem when I sold my black car, the dealer told me there was a premium of $500, as the colour was in demand. so i got $500 more. Maybe white cars will also fetch $500 more when u export, so that's why it also cost $500 more when u buy? just my own opinion, could be the dealer just wants to squeeze more from u also
