MOS Burger is a fast food restaurant chain that originated in Japan. It is now the second largest fast food franchise in Japan over McDonald's, and owns numerous overseas outlets over East Asia, including Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Hawaii, Hong Kong and Thailand. It is also the name of the standard hamburger offered by the restaurant, being its first product when the restaurant was founded in 1972.
MOS Foods Singapore Pte Ltd. was established in 1992 and opened our first store, Isetan Scotts in May 1993.
We have 22 stores in Singapore where MOS Burger is widely known to the local population. In April 2005, MOS Foods Singapore Pte Ltd. obtained ISO 14001 certification, the international standard for environmental management systems. It is the first overseas affiliated company of MOS food services, as well as the first food service company in Singapore, to pass the standard.
