Since the invention of cup noodle by Momofuku Ando in 1971, we have long associated cup food with unhealthy meals. Yet in the homeland of unhealthy instant noodle, there is also a very healthy type of noodle, the buckwheat variant known as soba. My 3 papas were simply struck by lightning that night they thought of combining the convenience of cup food with fresh healthy ingredients like soba, vegetables etc.
